By joining the Texas Academy you can expect nothing but the best training. A program that runs for the full calendar year with tournaments, camps, clinics, and many other exciting events planned exclusively for the Texas Academy Men’s and Woman’s teams.
Each athlete will receive a TXA package that includes
practice gear. For a full year fees will be $2500.00. With an initial
payment of $300.00 due at the time of registration. Payment
arrangements can be made on a case by case basis. The fees pay for
Coaches, Private lessons, training sessions, lax equipment, practice
gear, traveling, housing, tournament cost and online profile
maintenance with minimal administrative fees. With many recruitment combines and tournaments available now, fees range from $600-$800
for a weekend. The Texas Academy will provide everything in one package
for a full year. Upon registering the initial year, continued
enrollment with the program provides a student athlete with a fifty
percent reduction in their fee for the rest of their high school
career.
January-May (end of state championships) - Private lessons are available (shooting, better stick skills, dodging, Goalie training)
- Physical training (speed, agility, endurance, upper & lower body strength)
- 1-3 clinics taught by Pro Lacrosse players
- We will send our filming crew out to tape games to compile a highlight reel
May-August (Summer till school begins) - TXA will gather 3 days prior to tournaments for full team practices (Dallas)
- 2-4 tournaments (Colorado, Long Island, Florida, California)
- 3 hometown tournaments (Dallas, Austin, Houston)
- 1 Major recruitment combine (Dallas) where college coaches and scouts will attend to view
- Private lessons still available as well as training
- Pro Athlete Training sessions will be set up monthly
- Recruitment and college choosing advice from coaches and counselors
- Game filming and highlights tapes will be made for coaches (each player will have their own tape)
August-December - Private lessons will be more available
- Pro Training will More available
- Training sessions and Lacrosse clinics will be active in all cities
- TXA will host 2 Fall & Winter Tournaments
